If you own a BYD in Malaysia, booking a service no longer needs a phone call or a back-and-forth on WhatsApp. BYD Sime Motors has moved its service booking into the OneGo app, and owners who book through it before the end of the year get RM50 off their service.

Quick facts
- What: BYD service booking now runs through Sime Motors' OneGo app.
- Offer: RM50 off a service booked in the app, 2 November to 31 December 2026.
- New: choose your service advisor and confirm a live time slot.
- Network: 33 aftersales facilities and 16 body and paint centres in Malaysia.

The change comes from BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, and runs through Sime Motors' own OneGo app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play.
How BYD service booking works on the OneGo app
The booking flow is four steps. Owners pick their registered BYD, choose a service centre, select a date and time from the slots shown as available, then confirm. Along the way the app asks for the car's current mileage and leaves room for notes to the technical team, so a rattle or a warning light can be flagged before the car arrives.
Two details make it more than an online form:
- Pick your service advisor, not just the branch, which helps owners who prefer to deal with the same person each visit.
- Live availability, so a slot is confirmed on the spot instead of waiting for a call back.
Once a booking is made, a confirmation email arrives with the visit details, and the appointment can be added to Apple or Google Calendar with one tap. Inside the app, owners can see upcoming bookings, reschedule if plans change, and check when the car was last serviced.

The RM50 service discount
BYD owners who book a service appointment through the OneGo app get a RM50 service discount. The offer runs from 2 November to 31 December 2026. BYD Sime Motors has not listed any other conditions in its announcement, so owners should check the terms in the app before booking.
Why it matters for EV owners
BYD Sime Motors points to the rising number of BYD cars on Malaysian roads, which puts pressure on service centres to schedule visits without long phone queues. The distributor's network now covers 33 aftersales facilities and 16 body and paint centres, alongside 45 sales and marketing outlets. That footprint has grown this year with openings such as the BYD 3S centre in Miri, Sarawak and, this week, BE Group's new BYD Rawang showroom. Digital booking is the other half of that expansion: more branches only help if owners can get a slot without waiting on hold.

Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director for Southeast Asia at Sime Motors, said the aim is an ownership experience that "extends well beyond the vehicle handover".
Where to get it
The OneGo app is available on the App Store and Google Play. More information on BYD's Malaysian line-up and service network is on the BYD Sime Motors website, and the service hotline is 1300-38-1888.
For owners, the takeaway is simple: book through the app before 31 December, pick the advisor and slot that suit you, and the service costs RM50 less.
