Marshall Bromley 150 Lands in Malaysia at RM2,599

Marshall's Bromley party speakers have until now been big, mains-powered boxes built to fill a room. The new Bromley 150 shrinks that idea into something you can pick up and carry, and it reaches Malaysia on 26 October 2026 at RM2,599. It keeps the stage lighting and the room-filling sound of the range, then adds a battery, a handle and a weatherproof build so the party can move outdoors.

What the Bromley 150 offers

Marshall quotes more than 40 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the battery is both small enough to carry and swappable in seconds, so a spare keeps the music going past one night. A 20-minute quick charge gives roughly five hours, and a full top-up takes about three hours.

Sound comes from Marshall's True Stereophonic 360 degree setup, with front and back speakers meant to spread audio evenly rather than aiming it at one spot. Inside sit a 6.5-inch woofer on a 90W amplifier, two 2-inch full-range drivers on 55W amplifiers each, and a passive radiator, covering 40Hz to 20kHz with a maximum of 97dB at one metre. Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast and multipoint, plus a 3.5mm AUX in and out and USB-C.

Lights, mics and a build for Malaysian weather

Integrated stage lights sit behind the grille and move with the music, with three presets ranging from a subtle glow to a full light show. Two combo XLR and 6.3mm inputs take microphones or instruments, which makes the Bromley 150 a karaoke machine or a small busking rig as much as a speaker.

The IP55 rating is the part that matters most here. Dust and a splash of rain are not a problem, so poolside sessions, balcony listening and open-air gatherings all suit it, which counts for more in this climate than in most. The cabinet uses FSC-certified wood wrapped in PU leather with soft corner caps, and the corner caps, handle, grille, knobs and battery lid are all replaceable, so a knock or a worn part does not retire the whole speaker. "By repositioning the control panel to the side while retaining the tactile controls users love, we've freed up the entire front panel for powerful sound and immersive stage lighting," said Emma Rydahl, Senior Industrial Designer at Marshall Group.

One honest caveat: portable is relative here. At 290 x 290 x 208mm and 6.3kg, the Bromley 150 is a speaker you carry by its handle to the car or the garden, not one you drop in a bag. If you want something lighter and cheaper, Marshall's own Stockwell III at RM1,299 weighs 1.3kg, and the Kilburn III at RM1,999 trades the party lights for a longer 50-plus hour battery.

Marshall Bromley 150 price and availability in Malaysia

  • Price: RM2,599
  • On sale: 26 October 2026
  • Colour: Black and Brass
  • Where to buy: Marshall's official stores on Shopee and Lazada, plus Harvey Norman, Thunder Match, SNS Network, PC Image, EWT and Flash Gadgets

At RM2,599 the Bromley 150 sits above both the Stockwell III and the Kilburn III, and the extra money buys the stage lighting, the mic inputs and the bigger party sound rather than longer battery life. For anyone who hosts rather than just listens, that is the trade the Bromley name has always made, now in a size you can actually move.
