Sennheiser has launched three new audio products in Malaysia at once, spanning over-ear, true wireless and open-ear designs. The flagship MOMENTUM 5 Wireless arrives at RM1,999, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 at RM1,699 and the open-ear ACCENTUM Clip at RM999, giving listeners a choice of how they want to wear their headphones rather than a single form factor.
"With these three products, we wanted to give listeners in Malaysia more flexibility to choose how they listen depending on the moment," said Jake Chia, General Manager of Sonova Consumer Hearing Singapore. MOMENTUM 5 Wireless: the over-ear flagship
The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless builds on Sennheiser's flagship wireless headphone line. Its active noise cancellation now uses four microphones per side for ANC and transparency, aimed at cutting distractions such as surrounding chatter and aircraft cabin noise. A 42mm transducer handles the sound, with spatial audio for a wider soundstage, and Dolby Atmos with head tracking is due through a later software update for compatible content. The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 packs the MOMENTUM sound into a compact true wireless shape. A 7mm TrueResponse dynamic transducer works with an improved adaptive hybrid ANC, and Dolby Atmos with interactive head tracking adds spatial sound for compatible content. An AI-supported voice system is meant to lift call clarity in noisy places, while a redesigned shape aims for a steadier, more comfortable fit. Sennheiser quotes up to 12 hours of playback per charge and up to 40 hours with the charging case.
ACCENTUM Clip: an open-ear pair that leaves your ears free
The ACCENTUM Clip takes a different route with an open-ear design that leaves the ear canal unobstructed, so wearers can hear their surroundings without switching on a transparency mode. That suits commuting or exercising, where being aware of traffic and announcements matters. Each earbud weighs 6.8 grams and uses a flexible silicone bridge for a secure hold during movement, with an IP54 rating against dust and sweat. A single charge lasts up to nine hours, or up to 36 hours with the case. Bluetooth 6.0 supports multipoint pairing, and AI noise reduction is there to keep the wearer's voice clear on calls.
