Nothing has added a serious pair of over-ear headphones to its line-up, and it is bringing K-pop artist V of BTS on board to introduce them. The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is the London brand's new flagship audio product, pitched at people who listen closely and make music, not only casual listeners.
Announced on 29 September, Headphone (1) Pro is the first model in a new Pro tier for Nothing. It follows the original Nothing Headphone (1), which we reviewed here, and pushes the range towards studio-style controls rather than a straight design refresh.

V of BTS fronts the launch
Nothing named V, a member of BTS and a solo artist, as a global brand ambassador for the product, with a campaign built around the pair. For a Malaysian audience, that tie-in is likely to travel further than the spec sheet, given how large BTS's following is across the region.
Inside Headphone (1) Pro: three drivers and studio tuning
Where most headphones use a single driver, Headphone (1) Pro uses three, each handling part of the frequency range. A bass dynamic driver covers the low end, a precision dynamic driver handles vocals and instruments, and a treble xMEMS driver takes the highs.
Nothing tuned the headphones with Metropolis Studios, and the added controls are aimed at producers as much as listeners:
- A Flat EQ switch for a neutral profile when mixing
- A Dynamic Spatial Audio mode called Studio B that mimics the sound of a mixing room
- Five custom EQ profiles built around British music
In the Nothing X app, an Advanced EQ lets you drag tuning points across the range and set the main and precision drivers separately, while a Simple EQ adjusts elements such as bass and vocals.
Noise cancelling and Hi-Res audio
Adaptive noise cancellation runs up to 46 dB, using a 10-mic system that Nothing says filters wind and traffic more accurately. The ear cushions have a new 8 mm silicone baffle wall inside for a tighter seal. For sound quality, the headphones support Hi-Res playback wirelessly and wired over USB-C, up to 24-bit/192 kHz, with five modes of spatial audio and head tracking.
Design, weight and battery
The Pro keeps Nothing's transparent look, with 9H Panda glass on each ear cup that shows the drivers underneath. Aluminium is paired with titanium to keep the frame durable while cutting weight, and the headphones come in at 327 g. Battery life is rated up to 68 hours with noise cancelling off, with fast charging and an IP52 rating. Two colours are confirmed, Black and White.
Malaysian availability
Nothing says Headphone (1) Pro will reach Malaysia at a later date, with local pricing and on-sale timing to follow. The original Headphone (1) arrived here at RM1,099, which gives a rough sense of where the standard line sits, though the Pro is a step up and its price has not been set.
