Nothing's newest budget pair now has Malaysian prices and an on-sale date. The Phone (4b) and the Ear (3a), which the London brand revealed globally in July, go on open sale in Malaysia from 20 September 2026, with online pre-orders running before that.

Nothing Phone (3a) Community Edition unboxing!

Nothing Phone (4b): RM1,599, with an early-bird deal

The Phone (4b) is priced at RM1,599 and comes in White, Black and Blue. There is a reason to order early. From 8 September to 20 October 2026, Nothing is selling it at RM1,499, which is RM100 off the recommended price, and adding limited-edition merchandise while stocks last: a Nothing Foldable Backpack and a Nothing Phone Wrist Strap.

It is Nothing's cheapest phone to carry the full design, Glyph Bar lighting and Nothing OS software. From the global reveal, it runs a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen that reaches up to 2,000 nits, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip with 8GB of RAM and a choice of 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery, with a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide. We listed the full specifications when the Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) launched globally. In the local range it sits above last year's budget Phone (3a) Lite.

Nothing Ear (3a): RM399, with a new Pink

The Ear (3a) is the latest set in Nothing's cheaper (a) earbud series, priced at RM399. It comes in Black, White, Yellow and a new Pink. The (a) line sits below the step-up Ear (3), which arrived here at RM759, so the Ear (3a) is the entry point into Nothing's audio range.

Where and when to buy

Open sales start on 20 September 2026. Before then, both devices can be pre-ordered online through Nothing's official Malaysian website, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. From launch day they also reach authorised Nothing retailers nationwide, including the Nothing Image Store, TMT, Urban Republic and other participating stores, alongside the same online channels. That makes the online channels the first place to secure either device, with the wider retail rollout following on launch day.

Why it matters

Nothing has built its following on making the affordable end of the market look and feel less ordinary, and this pair stays on that path. At RM1,599 for the Phone (4b) and RM399 for the Ear (3a), the local prices land within reach of budget buyers. The early-bird phone deal gives anyone already tempted a reason to act before 20 October, since the RM1,499 price and the free backpack and wrist strap end when the offer closes and it returns to RM1,599.
