Nothing has a new pair of budget devices, and both arrived at the same time. The London-based company launched the Ear (3a), the latest in its (a) series of earbuds, alongside the Phone (4b), which it is calling its most affordable phone to carry the full Nothing design, Glyph Bar and software experience. Malaysian pricing and availability have not been confirmed yet, but here is what Nothing showed at the global launch on 7 July.

Nothing Phone (4b)
The Phone (4b) is built around a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which should help outdoors under the Malaysian sun. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip paired with 8GB of RAM, offered with 128GB or 256GB of storage. A 6,000mAh battery keeps it running, and the rear camera pairs a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultrawide.
The design keeps the transparent-inspired Nothing look and the Glyph Bar lighting on the back, and it runs Nothing OS on top of Android. Colour options include white, black and blue. Internationally the Phone (4b) starts at 299 pounds, roughly 329 euros, and in India it launches at 34,999 rupees for the 8GB and 128GB model. Nothing has said Malaysian pricing will follow later.
Nothing Ear (3a)
The Ear (3a) is the next step for Nothing's cheaper earbud line, sitting below the flagship Ear range to keep the entry price down. Nothing is offering it in black, white, yellow and pink. As with the phone, local pricing and on-sale dates for Malaysia have not been announced.
Why it matters
Nothing has built its name on making the affordable end of the market feel less dull, and the Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) stay on that path: distinctive design, a clean software layer, and a spec sheet that reads well for the money. The open question for local buyers is price. Until Nothing confirms the Malaysian figures, the international numbers are the best guide to where these will sit.
Availability
Both the Nothing Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) were announced globally on 7 July 2026. Malaysian availability and pricing are still to be confirmed by Nothing.
