If you have ever wanted your PC's cooler to do more than sit quietly behind the glass, GIGABYTE's new AORUS ELITE range is built around that idea. The company has launched a series of all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers that put a full-colour screen and dense RGB lighting on the pump head, aimed at builders who treat the inside of their case as part of the setup. It follows the wide AORUS lineup GIGABYTE showed at Computex this year.
The line is led by the AORUS ELITE 360, a 360mm cooler that combines a dual-chamber pump, a colour LCD and 87 onboard LEDs. There is a more compact AORUS ELITE 240 for smaller builds, and both come in black or white (the white versions carry the ICE name), so the four models are the ELITE 360, ELITE 360 ICE, ELITE 240 and ELITE 240 ICE.

A screen that shows what your PC is doing
The headline feature is the full-colour LCD on the pump head, with what GIGABYTE calls LCD Edge View. It can track up to 11 different system readings in real time, including CPU, GPU and memory data, and show up to four of them at once. If you would rather not watch numbers, the same screen takes custom images, GIFs or video, so it can display artwork or a logo instead. Which readings are available depends on the GPU installed.
Lighting you can split in two
The ELITE 360 carries 87 LEDs, and the lighting is dual-zone: the fans and the fan frame can be controlled separately through GIGABYTE Control Center (GCC). That means you can run one effect across the blades and another around the edge rather than lighting everything the same way. Actual colours and effects will depend on your motherboard and the software you use.
Built to stay quiet under load
On the cooling side, the dual-chamber pump keeps hot and cool liquid in separate compartments so heat is drawn away from the CPU more consistently. That matters most if you are pairing it with a warm, high-core chip such as AMD's Ryzen 7 7700X3D gaming processor. The 120mm FDB Hawk fans use a seven-blade design to move more air while keeping noise under 40 dBA, and their fluid dynamic bearings are rated for a long life. A high-density aluminium radiator with independent cooling channels and a copper cold plate with micro-fins round out the loop, with the aim of steady temperatures through long gaming sessions and heavy multitasking rather than one peak number on a bench.
Less fuss to install
GIGABYTE has also put some thought into the build itself, which matters if you are fitting the cooler yourself:
- One bracket for current sockets: a single mounting bracket covers Intel 1851 and 1700 and AMD AM5 and AM4.
- Thermal paste already applied: the cold plate ships with paste on it, so there is no manual spread to get uneven.
- Fewer cables: an integrated cable design cuts the wiring from as many as nine leads down to three.
- Single-frame fans: the fans sit in one unified frame, which GIGABYTE says reduces vibration and keeps airflow stable.
Malaysia availability
GIGABYTE has not confirmed Malaysian pricing or an on-sale date for the AORUS ELITE series yet, and full specifications for each model sit on GIGABYTE's official product pages. For anyone planning a new build around a recent Intel or AMD chip, this is a mainstream AIO that leans on the screen and the lighting to stand out rather than on cooling claims alone, and it is worth watching for local stock once retailers list it.
