The ROG Ally comes with Windows 11, which means it's compatible with almost all PC games. It also includes three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.  Enjoy solo gameplay or even with your friends, because the ROG Ally can be connected to your TV. Fun fact, the ROG Ally has a ROG XG Mobile interface to give you an added boost. The ROG Ally is powered by AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme Processor, which features 8 cores, 16 threads and up to 8.6 teraflops of graphics processing power, making it perfect for playing AAA games.

All that power is kept cool thanks to the ROG Zero Gravity thermal system, which has a dual-fan system, ultrathin heatsink fins, and high-friction heat pipes. The ROG Ally also comes with 16 GB of high-speed RAM, and 512 GB storage, with a microSD card slot so you can expand the capacity should you need to. It also supports WiFi 6E to make sure you are connected and online even when a lot of people are connected to the same network.

Considering it can run AAA games, it would need the display to match. Well, the ROG Ally does have what it takes to run demanding games. It comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1080p display, paired with AMD FreeSync, and a brightness of 500 nits. Ensuring that your AAAgaming experience is not interrupted by lag, tearing, stuttering or even low light. Seamlessly navigate through Windows 11 when you need to change settings or when you want to install a new game.

ROG Ally gives you a more versatile performance at the right price, especially since it gives you 60 fps, which is the frame rate that most games on the market today run. Plus, it gives you an on-the-go experience with better resolution, while also providing stunning visuals and motion clarity, making it a worthy contender with other handheld gaming devices available out there.

As mentioned earlier, you can play with your friends offline with the ROG Gaming Charger Dock, which allows you to connect the ROG Ally to the TV and play multiplayer games like NBA 2K23, or Street Fighter V. Or, you can also dominate your friends online with the ROG Ally thanks to its interface with the ROG XG Mobile which gives you higher bandwidth in the device. Pair the Ally with the XG Mobile external GPU to also get a boost of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU and higher framerates.

Pricing and Availability

Unfortunately, the ROG Ally hasn't been announced for Malaysia yet. As of the time of writing, ROG has only announced the price for the ROG Ally for the US, which is USD 699 for the Ryzen Z1 Extreme-equipped model and USD 599 for the Ryzen Z1 model.
