Blueshark has recently launched its latest Blueshark R series e-scooters with the R1 and the R1 Lite. The newest addition to their e-scooters comes with a revolutionary battery, and users can enjoy up to a 110km range on a single charge and achieve a top speed of 80 km/h.
The Blueshark electric scooter is powered by a 500w electric permanent magnet motor and paired with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that can charge fully in 3.5 hours.
Blueshark has also revealed the initial results of the Blueshark Pilot Programme, which was a test for the Blueshark R1 where 50 riders got to take the R1 back home to test it on Malaysian Roads. The riders also had the chance to test the Battery Swap Station (called the Blueshark BlueStation).
This program aimed to demonstrate the feasibility of Blueshark and how corporations can use it to achieve carbon reduction goals.
Riders can also experience five riding modes on the Blueshark Smart E-scooter like Walk Assist Mode and Turbo Modes. You can also connect to Bluetooth on this scooter and get GPS navigation, media playback, a driving recorder and others that will show on its 10.4” Full-Colour HD IPS dashboard.

Both Blueshark R1 and R1 Lite will be available for purchase for RM 9.390 and RM 7,190 (On-the-road, without insurance and with SST exemption), respectively. Blueshark also offers corporations a monthly rental package of RM 547 for the R1 and RM 487 for the R1 Lite.
