New Possible PS5 Bundle Will Come With Two DualSense Controllers

What's better than one?

Buying a separate controller to play FIFA on your PS5 with a friend could be a nuisance, and it doesn't help that DualSense controllers are hard to come by. Fortunately, this problem might change soon. According to reports, Sony is preparing to release a new PS5 bundle soon, supposedly this February. This bundle will see the console coming with two controllers instead of just one.

Sony released several special Collectors Edition PS5s last year like the God of War Ragnarök and Hogwarts Legacy, and they are set to release more bundles of the PS5 soon, as PlayStation executive Jim Ryan stated that "the PS5 should be more available for retail this year" at CES 2023.

According to tipster MauroNL on Twitter and German tech site WinFuture, two retail listings of the possible new PS5 bundle that includes two DualSense controllers with model numbers CFI-1216A and CFI-1216B were spotted online. Both the standard and Digital Edition PS5 are expected to come with this bundle.

Currently, the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition retail at RM2069 and RM2499 respectively in Malaysia. It is not yet known how much these new PS5 bundles will cost, so it is unknown whether you hardcore gamers will receive a discount or if they will be slightly more expensive than the standard price. After all, Sony has never confirmed any reports yet so we'll never actually know whether or not these bundles will be released later.

Last December, the rumoured development of a 'slim' edition of the PS5 was teased by Sony Entertainment Vice President Hideaki Nishino. The model was reported to come with a detachable disc driver, making it slimmer and lighter. It sounds to us as if the production of the PS5 will ramp up this year following demand.
