PS5's Innovative Access Controller Set to Launch on December 6

PlayStation unveils a game-changing controller designed to enable gamers with disabilities to play more comfortably and for extended periods!

PS5 will be launching their innovative Access Controller on 6 December 2023, and will be available for preorders from July 21. Designed to enhance gaming comfort and play duration for gamers with disabilities, this controller has been developed through a five-year journey, collaborating with accessibility organizations and experts.

Priced at RM449, the Access Controller allows users to customize their layouts using various buttons and stick caps of different shapes and designs. The controller can be operated from any 360° orientation and can connect third-party accessibility accessories using its four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports.

The Access controller comes with various PS5 console settings, enabling you to tailor the controls to suit your needs. With the capability to create up to 30 control profiles, adjust stick settings, toggle commands on/off, and disable buttons to prevent accidental pressing, the customization options are truly extensive. You can also pair up to two Access controllers and one DualSense wireless controller together when playing with friends!

Preorders Starting on July 21

From July 21, players in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam will be able to preorder the Access controller from selected retailers, while Singapore pre-orders will be held at a later date. The Access Controller will be launched globally on December 6.
