In fact, there is! If you and your friend both own a pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro, you can now Buds Together and enjoy the same music.
The little-known Buds Together feature allows you to easily pair 2 sets of Galaxy Buds so you can listen to music or watch a movie at the same time. That means you get to share songs without sharing your earbuds! It works best when you and your plus one are engaged in a shared activity, such as studying in a library, where you can enjoy the same rhythm of love at the same time, or when both of you are working through the rhythms to achieve shared fitness goals at the gym!
You’ll want to use this feature most on the Buds2 Pro, as you’ll be able to enjoy crystal clear 24-bit Hi-Fi sound, intelligent ANC, and 360 Audio, plus an improved connectivity earbuds experience that is more versatile than ever. However, if one of you just can’t upgrade to that, worry not, as the Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds2, and Galaxy Buds2 Pro are all compatible with the Buds Together feature as long as they are running One UI 2.5 or later.
Most importantly, activating this feature takes only a few simple steps.
How Do I Activate The Buds Together Feature?
The music goes on and on with Buds Together and to turn it on, you simply just need to:
1. Swipe down on your Galaxy device to access the Notification Panel, then tap Media.
2. Tap Music Share
3. Select your friend’s Galaxy Buds2 Pro device.
4. Tap “Accept” on your friend’s smartphone
5. After pairing, both devices will play the same music simultaneously. Both of your earbuds can have their volume adjusted and music playlists changed by you at the same time!
