Ways To Charge Galaxy Z Flip4-3

What Are The Best Ways to Charge Your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4?

Got the new Galaxy Z Flip4? Here’s some tips on juicing it up.

Built for non-stop productivity, smartphones with massive battery capacity are the trend nowadays. This includes the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 which comes with a long-lasting 3700mAh battery to power through the hours.

While being able to last the day is something everyone marvels at, nobody likes waiting for a phone to finish charging. And we do not advocate for using your phone while charging as this can shorten the phone battery’s lifespan.

Thankfully, with advanced engineering, the Galaxy Z Flip4 supports multiple ways to quickly replenish its power juice, with up to 25W rapid charging possible. With that, here are three ways to charge your beloved device fast and safely.

1. With a Power Bank

A power bank always comes in handy to keep your device up whenever you are on the go. For stable and safe charging, we highly recommend investing in a tried and true product such as the Samsung 25W Battery Pack 20,000mAh

Simply plug a USB-C cable to connect the battery brick and your Galaxy Z Flip4 to enjoy Super Fast Charging at 25W output (only applicable when connected to a single device). Another boon to the battery pack is that it supports a wide variety of safety features, including protection against overcharges, short circuits, temperature and much more.

Complying with Samsung AFC, Quick Charge 2.0, and Power Delivery 3.0 standards, the Samsung power bank works well with diverse Samsung devices and even third-party devices. You can also power two additional devices such as a tablet and earbuds simultaneously with the triple-port charging capability.

2. With a Wireless Charger

Dislike the look of tangles? Why not bypass the cord and recharge your Galaxy Z Flip4 on a wireless charger instead? As the Galaxy Z Flip4 supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, you can get up to 15W rapid charging support with the Samsung Wireless Charger Trio.

Unarguably, this is the easiest way to charge your Galaxy Z Flip4. All you need to do are in two simple steps: First, supply the charger pad with a power connection; Second, place your phone on it. Ta-da, what is left is just to wait for the battery level to go up.

Also worth mentioning is that the wireless charger pad has a built-in cooling system with a fan. This allows your phone to charge even faster yet with less power consumption.

3. With a USB Wire

If you don’t fancy any of our aforementioned methods, there’s nothing wrong with charging it traditionally via a cord. Needless to say, you can recharge the Galaxy Z Flip4 using a wall charger together with a USB-C cable, as long as the cord supports fast charging output.

Unfortunately, this time, the charger is missing, as Samsung excluded the charging brick from the box, though this was done in accordance to the brand’s sustainability vision. In other words, you will be only getting the Galaxy Z Flip4 itself, a USB-C-to-C cable and a SIM ejection tool.

If you are looking for a good wall charger to complement your cord, we’d suggest to grab the original Samsung 25W Power Adapter. It juices up your Galaxy Z Flip4 with powerful Super Fast Charging at up to 25W. Do take note that the max charge is only applicable on standard PD 3.0 devices, regardless of phone model.

Our Preferred Method:

For my choice as the writer, I like sticking to the conventional way - charging the Galaxy Z Flip4 with a wall charger plus a USB-C wire.

Not only is this the most budget-friendly method, but you are also getting the maximum 25W charging power. That said, you might need to purchase a new 25W wall charger if you happen not to have one.

However, for those who are frequently traveling or commuting, a power bank might be the more worthy consideration.

More Tips: Taking Care of Your Phone’s Battery Health

Similar to how most of us invest in premium cases to protect our smartphones, it is essential to take care of battery health from day one.

  • Don’t stress your battery!

Forget about calibrating your battery. Lithium-ion batteries are under the most stress when they are fully charged or fully drained. Just leave the charging up to about 80% and prevent it from dropping lower than 30%. As much as this sounds impractical, you can prolong the battery’s lifespan by following this simple practice.

  • Don’t overcharge!

Well, charging overnight most probably will not boom your battery but it does shorten the battery’s lifespan. Imagine the heat and stress building over time, we are sure that you could not stay for a long period under such conditions.

  • Trust the technology!

Turn on the smart battery saver. Be it an iOS or Android smartphone, it should come with a power-saving mode. This smart feature will automatically reduce performance and background data that drain battery life, whenever the power is running low. Of course, you can always enable the functions manually when you need higher performance.

Besides the 3,700mAh battery pack, Galaxy Z Flip4’s screen is made of an Ultra Thin Glass that not only offers a better hand-feel experience but is also durable, having been tested to withstand 200,000 folds.

Although the Galaxy Z Flip4 is not the most robust smartphone ever, it is certainly just as durable among the standard smartphone in the foldable and non-foldable market. You’ll never ever find yourself worrying about your Galaxy Z Flip4 breaking apart all of a sudden.
