Why a store, when most of this is online
CelcomDigi says the new store holds more than 30 partner brands across devices and content, anchored, like its other Life stores, by Samsung and Disney. Its Chief Sales and Retail Officer, Cheng Weng Hong, said customers "increasingly value guidance and insights that help them make informed choices", and that physical stores give the personal support its apps cannot. The company counts more than 10,000 retail touchpoints, including over 63 branded stores and over 300 partner-run Express stores, and more than 20.3 million users on its network.
CelcomDigi is not the only tech brand opening at 118 Mall this month: Xiaomi opened its 100th Malaysian store at 118 Mall this week. CelcomDigi's last consumer offer was its RM100 Umrah roaming pass, and more on the company is at celcomdigi.com.
