Malaysians who want to pick up artificial intelligence skills, from everyday productivity through to building their own tools, have a new place to do it on a government-backed platform. Agmo Academy is putting its AI courses on Rakyat Digital, the national digital learning platform run under the Ministry of Digital.

Quick facts
- Agmo Academy signed an MoU and a Course Provider Agreement with MyDIGITAL Corporation
- Its AI courses go on Rakyat Digital's Digital Skills Hub in 3 tracks: professionals, executives and developers
- Agmo also runs hands-on sessions at Rakyat Digital's AI Builder Hub
- Many of the programmes are HRD Corp claimable
Agmo Academy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Agmo Holdings Berhad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Course Provider Agreement with MyDIGITAL Corporation. The agreement places Agmo's AI training inside Rakyat Digital and makes Agmo an on-ground partner for the platform's hands-on sessions.

What the partnership puts on Rakyat Digital
Agmo Academy's courses will sit on Rakyat Digital's Digital Skills Hub. The line-up spans three groups of learners:
- AI productivity for working professionals
- AI strategy for executives
- Technical workshops for developers and architects, aimed at internationally recognised AI certifications

Cost may not land on the learner. Employers can tap Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) claimable programmes to put their teams through the training, which means the bill can be covered by existing levy contributions rather than fresh spend.
From learning to building
Beyond online courses, Agmo Academy will act as an on-ground partner for the AI Builder Hub under Rakyat Digital. There, participants build and test their own AI solutions alongside Agmo practitioners who deploy AI for a living, rather than stopping at theory.
"Malaysians do not just need to learn about AI, they need a place to practise it," said Tan Aik Keong, chief executive of Agmo Holdings Berhad.
Why it matters

The tie-up feeds the national goal of turning Malaysia into an AI Nation by 2030, and it follows Agmo's own push into the field, including becoming a Select Claude partner in Malaysia with a team of certified architects. Agmo has been building AI and digital systems since 2017 for sectors from healthcare to government, so the courses are pitched as practitioner-led rather than purely academic.
It also leans on the Ministry of Digital's wider infrastructure, the same push behind the national digital identity that has passed ten million MyDigital ID users. Putting recognised training on one national platform lowers the hurdle for anyone outside the big cities to start.
What this means for you
If you are a working professional, an executive or a developer, the pathway now sits in one place: take an Agmo course on the Digital Skills Hub, then apply it at the AI Builder Hub. Before paying out of pocket, check whether your employer can claim the training through HRD Corp.
