Agmo Studio, a subsidiary of Bursa Malaysia-listed AGMO Holdings Berhad, has reached the Select partner tier in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network Services Track, a step that positions the homegrown software house as a certified local team for putting Claude into production for Malaysian businesses. The company announced the milestone from Petaling Jaya on 5 October 2026.

What the Select tier recognises
The Claude Partner Network is how Anthropic works with the firms that deploy its Claude models for customers. The Services Track rewards partners for three things: building a certified delivery team, delivering Claude use cases for clients, and proving the work through public customer references. Agmo Studio says its delivery team is backed by 45 Claude Certified Architects, and that Select status keeps that team close to new Claude models and capabilities as they ship. For a business, the practical read is access to a local team that has already taken Claude from a pilot to a working deployment, rather than a vendor starting from scratch, a gap we looked at when UST turned to Claude to make enterprises AI-native.
From durian exports to renewable energy
Agmo points to deployments that have already run in production. For Malaysian durian exporter Hernan Corporation, Agmo Studio built an operations agent on Claude that turns a photo of incoming fruit into a traceable inventory record, replacing manual data entry and cutting the time it takes to enter a sales order. The company says it has also delivered Claude work in the renewable energy sector. These are narrow, operational use cases rather than headline chatbots, which is where much of the measurable value in enterprise AI has been landing. It also sits against a noisier backdrop for the technology in this region, which we covered when Alibaba banned Claude Code and asked whether Malaysia should worry.
The wider Agmo AI portfolio
The Select tier sits within a broader enterprise AI portfolio that spans AI consulting and implementation, agentic AI solutions, and Agmo's sovereign AI offering, Merdeka LLM. Going forward, the group plans to expand its Claude services to more enterprises and small and medium businesses, covering AI agents and workflow automation, company-wide rollouts with governance and usage controls, and forward-deployed engineers who sit with customer teams. It also plans to widen its Claude training programmes for both technical and non-technical learners, across Malaysia and Singapore.
Why it matters for Malaysia
Malaysia has set itself the goal of becoming an AI-driven economy, and the gap between experimenting with AI and running it in production is where most of that ambition is won or lost. A certified local delivery partner lowers one barrier for Malaysian enterprises weighing whether to move past the pilot stage. Agmo, incorporated in 2017 and the builder of more than 300 digital solutions across healthcare, logistics, oil and gas, automotive, financial services and government, is betting that demand for hands-on deployment help will turn into recurring revenue.
