Sony's year-end PlayStation sale opens in Malaysia this week, and anyone timing a purchase to it should know one thing up front: PlayStation 11.11 Power Deals, which run from 30 October to 12 November 2026 across Southeast Asia including Malaysia, do not include a discount on the console itself.

Quick facts
- PlayStation 11.11 Power Deals run 30 October to 12 November 2026 in Malaysia, at participating retailers while stocks last.
- The sale cuts PS5 accessories and selected games, not the consoles.
- The PS5 disc edition lists at RM2,799, the Digital Edition at RM2,499 and the PS5 Pro at RM3,999, the recommended retail prices Sony set on 1 May 2026. Actual retailer prices can differ.
- The headline accessory cuts are the PULSE Elite headset at RM180 off and the DualSense Edge controller at RM130 off.

What the sale actually discounts
The Power Deals are built around the things you plug into a PS5 rather than the PS5 itself. Sony lists the PULSE Elite wireless headset at RM180 off and the high-end DualSense Edge controller at RM130 off, with selected standard DualSense wireless controllers also marked down. On the software side, Sony is discounting a run of disc-format PS5 games through the same window. All of it runs at participating retailers and is subject to stock availability, so the better accessory deals are not guaranteed to last the full two weeks.

What a PS5 lists for in Malaysia
If you are buying the console for the first time, the 11.11 banner does not change Sony's advertised price. Sony raised its recommended retail prices across the region on 1 May 2026, citing continued pressures in the global economic landscape. The disc edition lists at RM2,799, the drive-free Digital Edition at RM2,499, the more powerful PS5 Pro at RM3,999, and the PlayStation Portal remote player at RM1,099. These are recommended prices, and what a given shop charges can sit above or below them.

What is not on sale
Three things a shopper might expect to see discounted are absent from the Power Deals list: the consoles, a PlayStation Plus subscription, and the PlayStation Portal. So a gamer who already owns a PS5 and wants a spare controller or a better headset has a real reason to move this fortnight. A buyer waiting for the machine itself to come down will not find it in Sony's announced deals, though retailer prices and availability can still vary.
The PlayStation calendar is otherwise busy. See our coverage of Sony's PS5 AI upscaling update from earlier this year, and our write-up of SURI: The Seventh Note, due to arrive on 30 October. The consoles and PlayStation Portal, for this sale, hold their listed price. The 11.11 Power Deals close on 12 November.
