OPPO's Find X10 series is up for a pre-launch Deal Pack in Malaysia now, on OPPO's own Malaysia online store. One thing the phone is set up to do is record flat, gradeable video through an app that costs nothing.
The app is Blackmagic Camera, the free shooting app from Blackmagic Design, the company behind DaVinci Resolve and the Pocket Cinema camera line. Its version 3.5 update for Android, reported by the filmmaking outlet No Film School, adds support for O-Log2 recording on the Find X10 and the OnePlus 16 series, a 10-bit remote preview on supported devices, tuning for Android 17, a settings search, and a shortcut that opens the app straight into a saved preset. The same report confirms the app is free to download on both Android and iPhone.
The line that matters is the log support. Log is a flat, low-contrast recording profile. The point of shooting in log is to leave the colour and contrast decisions for the edit, rather than letting the phone bake in its usual punchy, ready-made look. O-Log2 is a log profile, and Blackmagic's app can now record into it on the Find X10 and OnePlus 16 series, inside a manual interface with control over shutter, ISO, white balance and focus.

Two honest caveats. Log is not a filter: a flat clip looks washed out and needs grading before it looks finished, which is a skill and a step, not a setting. And we have not put the Find X10 through this update ourselves. OPPO has not published a Malaysian price or the full camera specification yet, so what we state here is drawn from the app's update and OPPO's own store, not from a hands-on test.
Shooting in log is only half the job. A flat file has to be graded before it looks like anything much, and that shoot-and-grade-on-a-phone workflow is exactly what our Pocket Cinematic course is built around.
The same free app has been picking up features across platforms. We reported last month that its iOS version added control of the iPhone 18 Pro's aperture in pro video, and footage you record in log lands in a grading tool like DaVinci Resolve, from the same company, which has a free tier of its own.
We have shot on OPPO's recent Find Ultra cameras ourselves. Here is a slow-shutter test we filmed on the previous Find X9 Ultra:
The Deal Pack is live on OPPO's Malaysia store now, with the balance payable and delivery or store collection available from 22 October.
