Malaysian gamers who want to feel what Infinix's gaming hardware is like before spending now have somewhere to go. The brand built a GG Party in Kuala Lumpur on 10 October 2026 around its new Infinix GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, and the same hands-on setup stays open to the public at ATO Gaming Cafe in TTDI until 11 November.
Inside the GG Party
The event leaned on play rather than a spec sheet. Attendees formed squads and went head to head in one-on-one challenges, picking a game and competing on the GT NX Controller. Gaming content creators Tash Bunny and Nukk joined as guests, running matches and sessions with fans through the programme.
"GG Party gave us a valuable opportunity to connect directly with Malaysia's gaming community and introduce the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station through an interactive experience," said Yang Li, Head of Marketing at Infinix Malaysia.
What the GT NX Controller and Station are
The two products are meant to work together as one gaming setup. The GT NX Controller is a handheld-style controller with a touchpad and a grip shaped for longer sessions. The GT NX Station is a dock that extends or mirrors your phone's screen onto a bigger display, with its own cooling and RGB lighting. At the showcase, Infinix's own display put the controller's battery life at more than 22 hours and framed the station as a way to turn a phone into a larger-screen gaming rig.
The push fits a wider pattern. Our own click data on rising Infinix interest in Malaysia shows most of the buying attention has gone to its Note and GT phones, so building accessories around the GT name is a logical next move. It also arrives while handheld and phone-first gaming keeps growing, where the real test is the one we keep coming back to with handheld gaming hardware, whether the experience holds up once you move past the launch demo.
Where to try it
For anyone who missed the GG Party, the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station hands-on setup stays at ATO Gaming Cafe in TTDI until 11 November 2026, open for the public to try both products. Infinix has not announced Malaysian pricing or an on-sale date for either one yet.
For now the GT NX gear is something to go and play with rather than buy, which is a fair way to size up gaming hardware before you commit to it.
