OPPO's Reno14 F Held at RM999 Into Malaysia's 10.10. Six More Real Price Drops

The OPPO Reno14 F, a 5G phone on our Malaysian buying lists, has sat at RM999 since 26 September. For the first eleven days we tracked it, from mid-September, it held at RM1,200. That drop, about 17 percent, is one of seven we found: products readers click to buy whose price fell and then held going into Malaysia's 10.10 sale.

Every morning we record the lowest listed price of thousands of products on our buying guides, taken from the Shopee and Lazada listings linked on our pages. Read against that record, the run-up to the sale has been mostly upward, not downward. Set early October against two weeks earlier and, among the products that moved by at least 10 percent, far more rose than fell: on our phone guides 24 rose and 5 fell, and on our laptop guides 17 rose and 6 fell. We looked at that climb in more detail yesterday.

A smaller group moved the other way, and held it. Looking at the products readers click to buy, these are the seven that fell by more than a tenth and stayed down, from the biggest cut to the smallest. Each figure is the lowest price we tracked for that product on our guide, which is what a shopper comparing from our pages would see, set against our lowest tracked price for it two weeks earlier. Each price, the old one and the new one, held for at least three days rather than flickering for an afternoon.

Chart of seven tech products on ProductNation's Malaysian buying guides whose price dropped and held between 21 September and 7 October 2026

The sharpest cut is on a keyboard. The Ducky One 2 Mini V2, a compact mechanical keyboard, fell from RM411 to about RM275, a third off, on 2 October. The HONOR Band 7 fitness tracker came down from RM199 to RM139, and the Razer Orochi V2 wireless mouse from RM289 to RM208. All three have held at the lower price since.

The biggest saving in ringgit is on a robot vacuum. The iRobot Roomba Combo J7+, which both vacuums and mops, moved from RM5,399 to RM3,999 on 1 October, about RM1,400 off.

Two screens also eased. The Toshiba 32-inch Smart TV (model 32V35KP) slipped from RM919 to about RM770, and the XGIMI Horizon Pro projector, a home-theatre unit, came down from RM4,999 to RM4,363. If a projector is on your list, our projector buying guide is worth a read first.

Back to the phone that leads this list. At RM999, the OPPO Reno14 F 5G is the only one of the seven to cross a round number, from four figures into three. It is a mid-range handset, not a flagship, and the lower price has held for nearly two weeks.

Two things are worth being clear about. First, these drops happened in late September and early October, before 10 October, the 10.10 sale date. They may be early sale pricing or ordinary price moves: our data shows when a listed price changed, not why. Either way, each was still at the lower price in this morning's tracking, and had held there for days. Second, this is a read of the products on our own Malaysian guides, not the whole market, and a listed price is not always the price you pay once vouchers and coin rebates are applied at checkout.

If you are shopping the sale, the useful move is to note today's price on anything you want before 10 October, then check whether the price on the day actually beats it. On our phone and laptop guides, more of the products that moved by 10 percent or more went up than down, so the ones that already came down are the ones worth watching.
