Nothing has opened pre-orders in Malaysia for the Headphone (1) Pro, which it calls its most advanced headphones to date, at RM1,499. Pre-orders run from 6 October 2026, ahead of an open sale the company says it will detail later this month.
The curiosity here is not the price but the driver count. The Pro is built around a triple-driver architecture, with separate drivers handling bass, vocals and highs, rather than the single full-range driver most wireless headphones use. Nothing says the tuning was developed with Metropolis Studios, the London recording studio behind a long list of commercial records.
At RM1,499, the Pro lands in the same bracket as the mainstream flagship wireless headphones Malaysians already know from Sony and Bose. Nothing is betting that the triple-driver setup and its transparent, part-exposed industrial design are enough to pull buyers away from the usual two names at that price, rather than competing on a lower number. For a brand that built its early following on styling, leading with an audio engineering claim is a shift worth noting.
Alongside the Pro, Nothing says it has restocked its Malaysian audio line-up after strong demand cleared earlier stock. The Ear (3a), Ear (3), Headphone (a) and Headphone (1) are all back in stock, which matters for anyone who was waiting on the cheaper models rather than the new flagship.
The RM1,499 price puts the Pro at the top of Nothing's local audio range. Buyers who want the design without the flagship tuning can still reach for the standard Headphone (1) or the Headphone (a), while the Ear (3) and Ear (3a) cover the in-ear side. With every model listed as available again, the full Nothing audio range is in stock at the same time, which has not been the case through the recent sell-outs.
Pre-orders are open at RM1,499 through nothing.tech, the Nothing Image Store, TMT, Urban Republic and other authorised retailers, as well as Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. Nothing has not yet given a date for the open sale, so the pre-order window is the only way to lock in a unit for now.
The Headphone (1) Pro first surfaced in Malaysia through Nothing's campaign with V of BTS. For the rest of the brand's local range, see our coverage of the Nothing Phone 4b and Ear (3a).
