Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in Malaysia, and it arrives with a price that does most of the talking. The 128GB model carries a recommended retail price of RM2,899, but a stack of launch promotions running until 30 September 2026 brings it down to as low as RM2,499. It comes in three colours, Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio.
The FE, short for Fan Edition, is Samsung's way of taking the parts of the flagship Galaxy S line that people actually use every day and putting them in a more affordable body. This year that pitch leans hard on video and the camera, which is where the S26 FE spends most of its effort.

A camera phone built to shoot on the move
The headline feature is Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, first seen on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It reads the direction of gravity through the phone's sensors and keeps footage level even when you are walking, turning or filming in a crowd, so a clip from a hike or a packed concert does not come out looking like it was shot on a roller coaster.
Alongside it is My FanCam, which came to Samsung's latest foldables and now lands on the S26 FE. It uses Galaxy AI to lock onto a person you choose and keep them centred in the frame, and it can even take wider footage you already shot and reframe it around that subject afterwards. Point it at a performer, a child on stage or the birthday girl and the phone does the tracking for you. Nightography and a 3x optical zoom round out a camera that is clearly meant to be pulled out at events rather than left in a pocket.

The everyday hardware
The S26 FE keeps a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at a 120Hz refresh rate, which covers everything from social feeds to streaming on the commute. A 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging is rated for up to 29 hours of video playback, enough to get through a long day from the morning commute to a late mamak session.
Galaxy AI does the editing too
Capturing the moment is only half of it. Photo Assist can refine images from natural-language prompts, and Gemini Omni can help create and edit clips from the photos and videos already in your gallery, turning a day's footage into something ready to share without leaving the phone.
What it costs, and until when
From 4 to 30 September 2026, the Galaxy S26 FE is available from RM2,499 against its RM2,899 recommended retail price.
