OPPO has added two phones to its A-series in Malaysia, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G and the OPPO A7 Pro Max 5G, and the pair leads on the two things most mid-range buyers actually feel day to day: a battery that lasts and a camera that holds up in low light.
The headline number sits on the A7 Pro Max 5G, which packs a 10,000mAh battery into an ultra-thin body. OPPO rates it for up to 30.9 hours of Google Maps navigation, 14.7 hours of WhatsApp video calls, or 15 hours of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on a single charge. The smaller A7 Pro 5G uses an 8,000mAh battery, still well above the roughly 5,000mAh that has been the mid-range norm for years.
That puts it in the same new bracket as the vivo V80 Lite 5G, which also arrived in Malaysia with a 10,000mAh battery, as the big-battery race moves down from flagships into affordable phones.

A camera system built around selfies and low light
Both models lead with a 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view, wide enough to fit a group without the arm's-length stretch. OPPO says an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch moves between 1x and 0.6x as more faces enter the frame, while a Natural Tone mode tunes skin colour closer to what the eye actually sees rather than over-brightening it.
On the back, a 50MP main camera uses a larger 1/2-inch sensor that OPPO says takes in 70 percent more light than the previous generation, for cleaner shots with less noise. An AI Night Mode leans on a RAW night algorithm to pull detail back into shadows and highlights, and a new AI Popout feature lets a subject break out of the photo frame into a collage made for social feeds.
Charging that keeps up with the battery
The A7 Pro Max 5G supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, which OPPO rates at a full charge in 91 minutes, with five minutes on the cable returning about 11 percent. The A7 Pro 5G charges at 45W and reaches full in 101 minutes. Both support reverse wired charging, so the phone can top up a pair of earbuds or another handset in a pinch.
Malaysia price and the early-bird deal
Here is the part with a deadline. From 11 to 18 September 2026, buyers on the OPPO Online Store can reserve either model for RM50 and get a Deal Pack the company values at RM629. A7 Pro Max buyers receive an OPPO Enco Air4 gift coupon and A7 Pro buyers receive an OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro coupon. On top of that, OPPO is applying a launch rebate of RM200 on the A7 Pro Max and RM100 on the A7 Pro.
There are also purchase-with-purchase add-ons while stocks last: the OPPO Portable Wireless Speaker at RM149 (usually RM249) and the OPPO Enco Buds3 at RM99 (usually RM129). OPPO's earbuds have been running Malaysia promos of their own lately, with the Enco Buds3s recently falling to RM109. Full terms and the reservation itself sit on the OPPO Online Store.
OPPO has not published outright retail pricing beyond the reservation offer, so the true sticker price after the early-bird window closes on 18 September is the number worth watching.
