If you are the sort of person who ends every day hunting for a charger, vivo has built a phone for you. The vivo V80 Lite 5G has landed in Malaysia carrying a 10,000mAh battery, roughly double what most phones at this price hold, and it starts at RM1,399 on pre-order, RM1,499 at full price.

vivo showed the phone in Kuala Lumpur on 3 September 2026 with an outdoor glass house display at Lot 10 in Bukit Bintang. It is the first phone in vivo's V series to reach a 10,000mAh battery, and the company has built the whole pitch around endurance.

A 10,000mAh battery in a phone, not a power bank

Most phones sold here sit between 4,500mAh and 6,000mAh, so 10,000mAh is the headline feature and the reason to look. vivo says the phone uses a fourth-generation silicon anode and a design it calls Magic Cube Battery Packaging to fit that much cell into a slim body, and it claims up to 16 hours of heavy use on a single charge and stable power in heat of up to 45 degrees Celsius. To make the endurance point loudly, vivo says the V80 Lite 5G set a Guinness World Records title for the longest electronic product testing livestream, running 32 hours and 37 minutes, verified in Chiang Mai, Thailand on 11 August 2026. It runs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chip, pairs a 50MP Sony main camera with a 32MP front camera, and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
