Malaysian households that stock up during promotions, or that keep running out of freezer space, have a new set of options to weigh. PRISM+ has expanded its home appliance line with a new refrigerator and freezer range, with prices starting at RM599 after vouchers. The lineup is led by a lab-certified anti-bacterial four-door fridge, and it sits alongside a compact model built for small homes and a pair of chest freezers aimed at bulk buyers and small businesses.

What PRISM+ is launching
The range covers three product families. The PureFresh FDR 520 is a four-door refrigerator with a 520-litre gross capacity. It uses a built-in Negative Ion Generator that PRISM+ rates at 99.99% antibacterial protection, and the company says it is the only model in its class backed by laboratory assessment against real bacterial strains, E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, over 24 hours of continuous testing. Other features include a Multi Zone Cooling System, No Frost Technology, an Inverter Compressor, an external LED touch display, Quick Cool and Quick Freeze modes, and an Energy Saving Mode. It comes in Inox and Gentle Matte Black.
The PureFresh TMF 170 is the compact option, holding 170 litres while taking up about 0.23 square metres of floor space. It runs at a quoted 42dB, carries a 4-Star Energy Rating, and adds tempered glass shelves and a reversible door, which makes it a fit for apartments, studio units and office pantries. It is sold in an Inox finish.
The FreezeMaster 260 and FreezeMaster 390 are chest freezers finished in Light Grey. Both offer up to 100 hours of power-off protection to keep food frozen during an outage, hold a 4-Star Energy Rating, and include a child-safe temperature dial, built-in LED lighting and a removable storage basket.

Prices are after vouchers. The FDR 520 is on sale now through the PRISM+ website, its Shopee official store and PRISM+ retail outlets. The TMF 170 and both FreezeMaster models are open for pre-order on the PRISM+ website, with deliveries expected from mid to end of August 2026. Every model carries a two-year on-site warranty, with a 12-year compressor warranty on the FDR 520 and the FreezeMaster freezers, and a 10-year compressor warranty on the TMF 170. PRISM+ also lists an optional extended warranty add-on.
Why it matters for buyers
PRISM+ built its name selling monitors and televisions direct to consumers, and it has been pushing into home appliances on the same value pitch. The company points to changing grocery habits, more bulk buying during sales and a closer eye on running costs, as the reason for a range that leans on energy ratings and long compressor warranties rather than headline features. The anti-bacterial claim on the FDR 520 is its clearest bid to stand out from cheaper four-door rivals.
"We have always believed good technology should reach more homes, not fewer," said Jonathan Wong, CEO of PRISM+.
