Lowering the air conditioner to beat the heat, only to wake at 3am freezing, with dry skin and a quiet dread of the next electricity bill, is a familiar Malaysian ritual. Samsung is pitching its Bespoke AI WindFree Premium Pro air conditioner at exactly that trade-off between comfort, sleep and running cost, and has put the unit at the centre of the latest episode of its Home at Heart content series.

Cooling without the cold draft
The headline feature is WindFree Still Air Technology. Once the room reaches the set temperature, the unit stops blasting and instead disperses cool air through 23,000 micro air holes across the front panel, creating a still-air environment rather than a direct cold stream. Samsung says this lets you stay cool through the day and night without cold air blowing straight at you, which is the usual cause of that dried-out, over-chilled feeling by morning.
Sleep cooling that follows your Galaxy Watch
Through the Samsung SmartThings ecosystem, the Bespoke AI WindFree Premium Pro can pair with a compatible Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring. With WindFree Wearable Good Sleep Mode, the wearable detects when you fall asleep and lets the air conditioner adjust cooling across different sleep stages on its own, so you are not waking up to change the temperature yourself.
Up to 30% less energy
Because air conditioners run for long hours in Malaysian homes, the running cost is the part most households feel. The unit uses AI Auto Cooling and Smart Energy Saving to read room conditions, usage patterns and outside factors, then tunes the compressor to cut unnecessary use. Samsung says its AI Energy Mode can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%.

It is the latest of Samsung's push to spread AI across the home, which this year has also brought Bahasa Malaysia to Galaxy AI and seen the company frame its OLED TVs as art.
