The four 2026 Samsung Odyssey models at a glance
The range splits across two panel technologies: Fast IPS for the ultra-high-resolution G8 pair, and QD-OLED for the deep-contrast models.
- Odyssey G80HS (32-inch): 6K resolution at 165Hz, with a Dual Mode switch to 3K at 330Hz, 1ms response time, Fast IPS panel.
- Odyssey G80HF (27-inch): 5K at 180Hz, or QHD at up to 360Hz via Dual Mode, 1ms response time, Fast IPS panel.
- Odyssey OLED G80SH (27-inch and 32-inch): 4K at up to 240Hz, 0.03ms response time, QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 (27-inch) or 500 (32-inch), glare-free coating, DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 and USB-C support.
- Odyssey OLED G73SH (32-inch): 4K at 165Hz, or FHD at up to 330Hz via Dual Mode, 0.03ms response time, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.
What the whole lineup shares
All four monitors are NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and support AMD FreeSync Premium, so frames stay smooth without tearing on either GPU camp. HDR10+ GAMING handles scene-by-scene tone mapping, the panels are Pantone Validated for colour accuracy, and each model ships with an ergonomic stand offering tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment. Connectivity covers DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and a built-in USB hub.
Why Dual Mode is the practical headline
The feature that matters most day to day is Dual Mode, which lets the high-resolution models drop to a lower resolution at roughly double the refresh rate on the fly. One monitor can run a story-driven AAA title in full 6K or 5K detail, then switch to 330Hz or 360Hz for ranked competitive matches. With the local esports scene growing and more Malaysians streaming their gameplay, that flexibility addresses what used to require two separate displays.
Worth noting before you budget: driving 6K at high refresh rates demands a serious graphics card, so the G80HS makes the most sense paired with a current flagship GPU.
Availability in Malaysia
Samsung Malaysia has not shared local pricing or on-shelf dates in this announcement. Details for the Malaysian market should appear on the Samsung Malaysia site as the lineup rolls out.
If a monitor upgrade is on your list this year, the 2026 Odyssey range sets the spec ceiling to measure everything else against: 6K Fast IPS on one end, 0.03ms QD-OLED on the other.
