ASUS ProArt PZ14 Lands in Malaysia From RM9,999

ASUS brings its ProArt creator line to a slim Snapdragon X2 Elite tablet, on sale in Malaysia from 27 May.

ASUS is bringing its creator-focused ProArt line into tablet form for Malaysian users, and the new ProArt PZ14 arrives as a Copilot+ device built around Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X2 Elite chip. It is aimed at people who edit, design, and render away from a desk rather than chained to one.

The PZ14 runs an 18-core Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with an NPU rated at up to 80 TOPS, the on-device AI engine that powers features inside creative apps without leaning on the cloud. The 14-inch screen is an ASUS Lumina Pro OLED panel with up to 1000 nits of brightness, a 144Hz variable refresh rate, an anti-reflective finish, and eye-care certification. The tablet is 9mm thick, weighs 0.79kg, and carries IP52 dust and water resistance plus MIL-STD-810H durability testing.

Built for working away from the desk

ASUS ships the PZ14 with an ASUS Pen 3.0 stylus and a detachable Bluetooth keyboard with a stand cover, so it shifts between a drawing slate, a note-taking pad, and a laptop replacement. On the software side, ASUS bundles its own creative tools: StoryCube for asset management, MuseTree for idea boards, and the ProArt Creator Hub, which together aim to cut the busywork around organising files and starting projects.

Where it fits for Malaysian creators

Windows on Arm has matured over the past two years, and a Snapdragon X2 Elite tablet with an 80 TOPS NPU sits at the upper end of the Copilot+ category. The pitch is portability with enough headroom for photo and lighter video work, which puts the PZ14 against premium detachables rather than mainstream tablets. App compatibility and battery behaviour are the usual questions with Arm-based Windows machines, so anyone who depends on specific professional software should confirm native support before buying. Both configurations ship with a 512GB solid-state drive.

Price and availability

The ProArt PZ14 goes on sale from 27 May 2026 through the official ASUS e-Store and authorised ASUS resellers. Two configurations are listed: a Snapdragon X2 Elite model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage at RM9,999, and a 32GB RAM version with the same 512GB of storage at RM11,999.

For Malaysian creators who want one device that draws, types, and renders without a tower or a heavy laptop, the PZ14 is ASUS putting its ProArt name on a genuinely portable machine. The price sits firmly in professional territory, so it will appeal most to people whose work pays for that mobility.
