The new Predator lineup at a glance
The headline product is the Predator Helios Neo 16, a mid-tier gaming laptop powered by up to an Intel Core i7 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics. It carries a 16-inch 16:10 IPS panel that goes up to WQXGA+ resolution at a 180Hz refresh rate, a 3ms response time, and 100 percent sRGB coverage. Cooling is handled by a 5th-gen AeroBlade 3D fan, and networking leans on Killer Wi-Fi 6E paired with 2.5G Killer Ethernet.
For desktop holdouts, the Predator Orion 5000 packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F with RTX 5070 graphics into a 45-litre chassis built from 65 percent post-consumer recycled plastic. Out of the box it ships with 32GB of DDR5-6000 (upgradable to 128GB), 1TB of SSD storage with room for more SATA or M.2 drives, Wi-Fi 7, and the Predator CycloneX 360 cooling loop.
On the display side, the Predator XB273U X2 is a 27-inch QHD IPS monitor that overclocks to a 210Hz refresh rate with a 0.5ms response time. Acer is pitching it at competitive players who want sharper resolution without giving up motion clarity. The Nitro PG241Y P1, meanwhile, is Malaysia's first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor: a 144Hz IPS panel that runs off a single USB-C cable, with a built-in kickstand for desk or travel use.
Malaysian pricing and where to buy
Everything is on sale immediately through the Acer eStore, Acer's official Shopee and Lazada storefronts, and authorised resellers nationwide. RRPs Acer shared for the new lineup:

- Predator Orion 5000 at RM14,999

The Kasi Onz Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid
The Predator Kasi Onz Roadshow runs at the Sunway Pyramid Blue Atrium from 14 to 17 May 2026, and the in-person prices are where the value really sits. Buy at the roadshow and you get:
- Predator Helios Neo 16: RM200 off, plus a Predator Galea 365 headset worth RM399 and RM300 in Touch 'n Go eWallet credit
- Predator Orion 5000: RM1,500 off plus RM300 in Touch 'n Go credit
- Predator XB273U X2: additional RM100 off
- Nitro PG241Y P1: a special price of RM499 with a complimentary Acer Bluetooth speaker
Acer is also running a "Predator Onz Hour" on 16 and 17 May, from 11am to 12 noon and again from 7pm to 8pm, with selected stock at up to RM4,499 off or 85 percent off, while supplies last. Across all roadshow purchases, Acer says total discounts and free gifts can reach RM2,000 and RM1,999 respectively for selected devices.
Why it matters for Malaysian gamers
This is one of the rare local launches where the in-store price beats the e-commerce price by a meaningful margin, so anyone in the Klang Valley with a budget locked in for a gaming laptop, desktop, or monitor has a four-day window to claw back hundreds of ringgit. If you can't make the roadshow, the standard prices are still in line with what we have been seeing for current-gen RTX 50-series gaming hardware in Malaysia, and Acer's monitor pricing in particular looks competitive at the QHD-210Hz tier.
