OPPO has officially revealed the Find X8 Ultra in China, with OPPO calling it the ultimate camera phone for pro creators and visual storytellers.
The Find X8 Ultra is designed with a Next-Gen Penta Camera System, Dolby Vision 4K 120fps video, and as the world’s thinnest 1-inch camera phone. It's a flagship device that is engineered for both creative excellence and elegant practicality. Combined with a massive 6100mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and ultra-fast charging, the Find X8 Ultra is perhaps OPPO's biggest launch yet for this year's smartphone market.

Next Gen Penta Camera
The camera on the OPPO Find X8 Ultra is designed in partnership with Hasselblad. This key move pays off in a system that includes a four 50MP rear camera set up, which includes:
- 50MP 1-inch main camera (Sony LYT-900 sensor) with f/1.8 aperture and custom OIS
- 50MP ultra-wide
- Two 50MP periscope telephotos
The two 50MP periscope telephoto lenses are 3x Telemacro (LYT-700) lenses which are 10cm-distance macro lens. Also designed with OPPO's exclusive "Super Blue Glass", this minimizes glare and ghosting to give 400% more light than competitors. And when performing a 6x Triple Prism Zoom (LYT-600), it's capable of 151% more light intake.
OPPO's set up are also True Chroma Cameras, which is a 9-channel multispectral sensor with 2M spectral pixels to produce lifelike colours in images.
HyperTone Image Engine
OPPO Find X8 Ultra's imaging is set up with Next-Gen HyperTone Image Engine, OPPO's in-house computational photography that's meant to work with demanding and challenging lighting.
Together with AI Tone Mapping & ProXDR, images will have enhanced skin tones, depth, and shadow detail.
On the OPPO Find X8 Ultra, you get to produce quality-images whenever with its multiple modes:
- Hi-Res Mode (new): Captures 25MP photos across all four lenses.
- Master Mode: 50MP RAW MAX & JPEG MAX, Focus Peaking, Magnifier, 15 Presets + Custom Profiles
- Hasselblad Portrait Mode: Realistic bokeh, continuous zoom from 1x to 6x, optimised for mixed light and night scenes
Flagship Videography with 4K 120fps and Dolby Vision
A rare find in the smartphone market here is that OPPO has made all of the rear and front cameras on the Find X8 Ultra capable of supporting 4K 60fps Dolby Vision when it comes to filming.
To handle distorts in smartphone telephoto lenses, Find X8 Ultra's 1x and 3x cameras impressively support 4K 120fps slow-mo, making the phone ideal for cinematic creators as well.
Slimmest "Camera-Focused" Smartphone Yet
Find X8 Ultra breaks the mold of bulky ultra-level camera phones. It has actually achieved a remarkably slim 8.78mm profile, effectively cementing itself as the thinnest in its class currently.
The Find X8 Ultra has a 6.82-inch flat QHD display with visually symmetrical bezels. It is also durable with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, coupled with SGS five-star drop resistance certification, ensures resilience in demanding environments.
Powered For The Day
OPPO Find X8 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, and features up to 16GB of LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, along with up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This configuration is designed for smooth performance for demanding tasks such as immersive gaming experiences and 4K HDR video editing, eliminating delays.
In classic OPPO fashion, battery is also an astounding aspect of the brand's offering, with 6,100mAh battery on the Find X8 Ultra.

Find X8s+ is also an upgrade to the popular Find X8, offering refreshed color palettes and a larger 6000mAh battery.
