Belkin iPhone 15 Accessories Review

I Got Three Chargers, Two Power Banks, and Two Cables For My iPhone 15—Here's My Review For All of Them!

Belkin makes some really great iPhone accessories!

Recently, I took the leap of faith and switched to the iPhone 15, and while I can’t say I regret it per se, it took me some time to get used to the phone in general. The UI was simple enough,

The one thing that annoyed me the most, though, is how hard (and costly) it was to find iPhone-compatible accessories, especially chargers and cables. Not all Type-C cables and chargers are made the same, and Apple has certainly made their iPhones to be just about as picky as I am with my food.

And not that I’m complaining—the iPhone 15’s Type-C charger port is great and all, but the fact remains that it’s still in the minority, so most compatible third-party accessories are still made with the Lightning port in mind.

Fortunately, Belkin has stepped up their game by releasing a full range of Type-C accessories that are compatible with not only the iPhone 15 but also all your other devices as needed. From fast-charging wall chargers and cables to power banks and wireless charging stands, here’s our review of Belkin’s iPhone 15 accessories range!

BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand with Official MagSafe

Out of all the products we’re reviewing in this article, the BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Charger Stand is by far my favourite. I could categorise my work area with “before charging-stand” (B.C.) and “after tiDying” (AD).

During BC times, my desk was a mess of cables, chargers, and what have you—hazard of being a tech editor—but after getting the charging stand, I’m able to have at least all of my personal devices on the stand, which takes up much less space. My phone is also at a perfectly convenient angle so I can easily see any incoming notifications with just a glance without having to pick the phone up.

And yes—that is an Android phone charging on the base, because apart from the two MagSafe pucks at the top, the base is also a 5W wireless charger. It’s originally designed for Airpods, but I found out, to my delight, that it charges just about any device that is QI compatible.

The stand itself is pretty sleek, and the white-and-silver blends well with any aesthetic. The 3-in-1 Charging Stand also comes in black. It takes up little desk space, but there’s still enough distance between the phone charger and the Watch charge to swivel the phone into landscape mode to show your Standby.

The BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Charging Stand features 15W wireless Magsafe fast charging, which juices up your iPhone pretty quickly. The same goes for the Apple Watch wireless charger. I was able to get from 28% to 100% on my iPhone 15 in just a little over an hour.

The 5W wireless charger at the bottom doesn’t charge a phone quite as quickly, but it’s quite enough for smaller devices like Airpods or other wireless earbuds. Most importantly, the stand is able to charge everything you put on it at the same time, without compromising on its promised charging speeds. That’s because the main power adapter has 40W, which means there’s enough power to go around.

BoostCharge Pro 4-Port 108W GaN Charger & Dual USB-C 65W GaN Wall Charger

We’re parking the 4-Port GaN Charger 108W and the Dual USB-C GaN Wall Charger with PPS 65W in the same section because they pretty much serve the same purpose—just different sizes.

The 4-Port 108W GaN Charger is a behemoth adapter that comes with two Type-C ports and two Type-A ports. The USB Type-A ports have 12W shared, while the Type-C ports are 65W (95W max) and 30W respectively. The ports are labelled, so you don’t have to plug in and wish for the best.

The high wattage means that the 108W GaN charger can charge just about everything, not just iPhones. I’ve tried charging a laptop and a Steam Deck along with my iPhone 15 with the adapter at the same time—and everything got charged perfectly!

That said, you’ll only get 108W total out of the charger, so a Steam Deck (45W) + laptop (45W) + iPhone (15W) is already its limit. Any more, and you probably won’t get the charging results you desire.

The 4-Port 108W charger is great for a static desk setting, given its size and capacity. If you’re looking for something more portable and travel-friendly, it’s the 65W GaN Wall Charger that you want—as its name implies, it comes with two USB Type-C ports and maxes out at 65W.

It’s certainly not as powerful as the 108W charger, but for charging phones, it’s really more than enough. The ports are also conveniently labelled, with a 20W and 45W port each totalling to 65W. That means I can—and did—charge my Steam Deck and iPhone at the same time with this wall charger, which is already a lot more than other chargers can do.

BoostCharge Pro Fast Wireless Charger for Apple Watch+Powerbank & BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 5,000 mAh

If you want even more portability, there are also the power banks: we got the BoostCharge Pro Fast Wireless Charger for Apple Watch+Powerbank and the BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 5,000 mAh.

The former is a bit of a mouthful, but it’s all in the name: it’s a power bank with an Apple Watch Charger embedded in it. Apple Watches are notorious for their short battery life, which isn’t ideal for travelling, but with this power bank, you can charge your phone AND your Apple Watch on the go.

Personally, the Apple Watch power bank (which is what I’m calling it now) isn’t the prettiest power bank I’ve seen, but it really makes up for it with practicality. Multitasking devices are all the rage nowadays, so having this power bank is one less charger to worry about.

On the flip side, the BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Power Bank is one of the prettiest powerbanks I’ve seen. We got the pink one, which goes perfectly with my pink iPhone 15.

The downside of the power bank is that it only has a capacity of 5,000mAh. That’s barely enough for a full charge on my iPhone 15, especially when I’m also using it at the same time while travelling, which is the whole point of having a power bank, but hey, pretty privilege exists.

I love that the Magnetic Wireless Power Bank is Magsafe compatible because it sticks firmly to the back of the iPhone while charging and requires no finicky cables to get tangled in. Plus, it also has a very handy stand at the back, so you can prop up your phone while it’s charging, which is great for travelling on planes.

BoostCharge USB-C to USB-C Cable 100W & BoostCharge Pro Flex USB-C to USB-C Cable 60W

Of course, to get fast charging, you’ll also have to get compatible fast-charging cables—and surprise surprise, Belkin also makes those.

We got two cables from Belkin: the BoostCharge USB-C to USB-C Cable with 100W, and the BoostCharge Pro Flex USB-C to USB-C Cable with 60W. The 100W cable was 2m in length, while the 60W cable was half of that.

Both cables are braided and pretty sturdy. I don’t worry about fraying at all, because they feel really durable—the charging head barely bends at the seam. The 100W cable is probably more suited to charge laptops, MacBooks, and the more power-hungry devices, while the 60W Cable, with its handy cable clip, is great for travelling.

Now, the other accessories reviewed here were all made specifically with iPhone and Apple products in mind, but these cables are pretty universal. Yes, they can charge my iPhone 15 with all the jingles and whistles intact, but they can also charge my laptop, Steam Deck, tablets, Android phones, earbuds—pretty much everything. And with Type-C becoming the mainstream now, it’s no surprise that Belkin is making these universal fast-charging cables.
