How Does This Edit Feature Work?
Easy; simply long-press on the sent message and select ‘Edit’ from the menu within fifteen minutes of sending. To maintain transparency in your chats, an 'edited' tag will be displayed alongside the altered messages.
Your edits will still be made known to the recipients, as edited messages will display "edited" alongside them without showing the edit history. Just like Discord, really.
Your security remains of the utmost importance on WhatsApp. As with all messages, calls, and media shared on WhatsApp, this new edit feature is protected by end-to-end encryption, ensuring your conversations remain private.
