Good News: You Can Add Up to Five Links to Your Instagram Bio Now!

The more, the better, right?

Table of Contents

After receiving numerous requests, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced in a post that you can now add up to five links to your Instagram bio. However, not all of them will show up at first glance; you'll still need to click around to see all of them.

Instead of just pasting the link to your bio, you can assign titles and reorder them to how they appear in your bio. However, if there is more than one link in your bio, those who visit your profile will have to click on a message underneath your bio that says “[Your first link] and one 1 other”.

So, unless you have a Linktree account that compiles your profile bio from other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, your followers will have to go the extra mile to access links on your profile.

It is a useful feature to have on the platform and it could be one that could entice others to make Instagram their main profile after Elon Musk took over Twitter and instilled a paid feature known as Twitter Blue that divided users. Meta was also interested in having a similar feature, but the only difference between Meta’s paid verification and Twitter Blue is that users can have direct access to customer support to get a better support service.
