It’s Nothing for earbuds this month — literally! Nothing has just announced that their next TWS earbuds, creatively named Ear (2), will be launching on 22 March 2023, 11pm MYT.
Judging from this image of a dung beetle dragging what looks like a clear earbuds case, it’s safe to say that the Nothing Ear (2) will be following the transparent and edgy design motif of its predecessors. Emphasis on “edgy” — it looks like the earbuds case has some pretty sharp edges.
Carl Pei, one of the founders of Nothing, also shared the announcement on Twitter:
Nothing’s previous earbuds, the Ear (1) and the Ear (Stick), were well-received when they launched last year. The Ear (1) came with ANC and impressive audio quality, while the Ear (Stick) had larger sound drivers and no ANC for a lower price. ‘
Following this pattern, the Ear (2) should come with improved ANC and hopefully better battery life, something that lacked in both the Ear (1) and the Ear (Stick).
