The purple iPhone 14 series really kicked off a colour hype last year when it was released. And now, reports suggest that the new iPhone 15 lineup will come in more interesting colours, including burgundy red, pink, and light blue.
Traditionally, Apple releases an exclusive colour for its Pro lineup. The iPhone 12 Pro came in Pacific Blue and the iPhone 13 Pro in Sierra Blue. Last year, it was Deep Purple for the iPhone 14 Pro, which became a hit amongst Apple fans as soon as it was released.
This year, the iPhone 15 Pro will likely come in dark red, according to a leak by 9to5Mac. The renders made by the website gives the new iPhone a pretty polished and professional look, we have to say.
On the other hand, 9to5Mac also reports that there are plans to release the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in brighter colours, specifically light blue and pink, taking an opposite direction from the dark red iPhone 15 Pro. These do not have renders because they are still in early planning and could change at any time.
As of now, we do not have an exact date of when the iPhone 15 lineup will be released, but if we're following the calendar of previous releases, it should be announced in late Q3 or early Q4, a good six months or so away from now. That's why it's important to keep in mind that these are just rumours and speculations, subject to change at any time.
