After it was revealed that Proton will be looking to introduce a smartwatch last year, the Proton X Watch is now available for puchase with the price of RM1,499. Developed by ACO Tech, the same company responsible for the ATLAS Android-based infotainment OS in X50 and X70 cars, the Qualcomm Snapdragon-based smartwatch will have remote vehicle features that can be used with both vehicles!

Proton X Watch Features
All X70 models, as well as the Premium and Flagship X50 models, allow for X Watch's remote control of the vehicle's locks, windows, horn, lights, trunk release, and air-conditioner control. The X Watch can also be used to start either version of the X50 remotely!
Additionally, you can check vehicle data, such as fuel level, fuel economy, and mileage until service, all from the convenience of your X Watch. The device isn't just for the road; it's also a fitness tracker with different sports modes, blood oxygen and heart rate sensor, as well as a sedentary reminder feature.
The 1.3-inch AMOLED display on the X Watch is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ and is housed in a stainless steel case with a ceramic bezel. ACO Tech also mentioned that the watch had a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating to protect it from smudges and fingerprints.
