vivo Malaysia is introducing a brand-new addition to the affordable Y series: the vivo Y55+. Apart from advanced imaging, large batteries, and innovative features, it also comes equipped with 5G capabilities, all at a price of RM1,099!
Running on a Dimensity 700 processor with 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM, the vivo Y55+ is designed with performance and simplicity in mind. It also gives the phone 5G capabilities, making it one of the more affordable 5G phones on the market.
For even better performance, the Y55 also features an Extended RAM 2.0. Up to 2GB of idle ROM can be converted to RAM, which allows for more apps to app simultaneously and increase efficiency. Apart from that, the device also supports up to 1TB of expandable internal storage, so you never need to worry about running out of space.
The vivo Y55+ is equipped with an AI triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera, 2MP bokeh camera, and 2MP macro camera. This setup, along with a powerful JN1 sensor, enables users to capture clearer and sharper images effortlessly at any time of the day.
For the selfie enthusiast, the 8MP front camera with AI Face Beauty algorithm and Smart Softlight Band allows for stunning portrait photos even in low light situations. Even better, both front and rear cameras are equipped with Super Night Mode, so you can capture purer and more expressive images in the darkest of nights.
Coming in two colour options, Starlight Balck and Glowing Galaxy, the vivo Y55+ boasts a 6.58” FHD+ Incell display that offers an immersive experience with clear and vivid visual quality. The 8.25mm thickness and 2.5D flat frame keeps the phone looking slim and stylish while ensuring a comfortable grip.
The vivo Y55+ is launching in partnership with YES, who has just announced their new 5G mobile plans. By subscribing to the YES Infinite+ Basic plan, which costs RM58 per month, users will receive a free vivo Y55+ along with 10GB data and hotspot data.
Retailing at RM1,099, the vivo Y55+ will be available starting from 9 June 2022 at all vivo concept stores and YES stores.
