All of GIGABYTE’s liquid coolers and tower fans will now come attached with brackets for a Socket AM5 to support the upcoming new AMD motherboards. This change will allow users to perform system and hardware upgrades without needing to change coolers, while providing optimal CPU heat dissipation to the machine.
While GIGABYTE has taken into account the platform variation when designing the cooling systems in the first place, they also recognize the inconvience of CPU upgrades whenever a major change in platforms occurs.
Through rigorous testing, GIGABYTE has made sure that the Socket AM5 platforms will be usable in all of their liquid coolers and tower fans, along with older platforms like the AM4. This will ensure that the systems continue to provide optimal thermal performance to the new platform so that users will be able to continue having exceptional gaming experience on GIGABYTE’s setups.
For consumers who have bought GIGABYTE’s multi-platform coolers or tower fans, no change or adjustment will be needed to upgrade to the new AM5 platform.
