In a world of high-end flagship phones going for above RM 3,000, Xiaomi’s Mi 9 makes an appearance with a price that will shock you for what you’re getting.
Before we reveal the price, we’ll have you know that the Mi 9 ships with a lot of goodies that include:

Starting from April 6 you can pre-order the Mi 9 from Lazada exclusively at RM 1,699.00 (6GB + 64GB). Otherwise, from April 13 onwards, the 6GB+128GB version is available at RM 1,999 from Mi stores and from Maxis’ mobile plans.
Additionally, the first 1,000 customers who pre-orders the 6GB+128GB version in a Mi Store will receive both the 20W Mi Wireless Charging Pad and 27W Power Adapter bundle worth RM 129 for free.
Mi 9 runs on a Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB of RAM, so you can expect smooth gameplays and media consumption without any performance cuts. With a 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED Dot Drop display (which has an under-screen fingerprint scanner), you’re never going to hear the end of yourself saying “wow!”.
Its 48MP Sony sensor is built to make low-light possible on the Mi 9. Completing its trio lens setup is another 16MP ultra wide-angle and a 12MP telephoto lenses. What about selfies? You can do that with its 20 MP front camera.
Charge the Mi 9’s 3,300 mAh battery at lightning speed with the 20-watts wireless charger. Otherwise, the 27-watts wired charger will do just fine, which will have the Mi 9 to 100% in just 90 minutes.
Mi 9 colours will be available in Piano Black, Ocean Blue and Lavender.
