If your next phone upgrade hinges on the camera, OPPO has given you a date to circle. The OPPO Find X10 Series makes its Malaysian debut in Kuala Lumpur on 22 October, and the pitch is refreshingly plain: open the camera, press the shutter, and get a photo that looks like what you actually saw.

What OPPO is bringing to Malaysia
The series arrives in two models, the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max, both built around a camera system co-developed with Hasselblad and a photography engine OPPO calls LUMO True Image Engine. The idea OPPO is selling is faithful colour and tone straight out of the camera, without digging through settings first. "Simply open the camera and capture the moment as you see it, with no extra settings required," said Pete Lau, OPPO's chief product officer.
The headline hardware is resolution across the board. The Find X10 carries a dual 200MP camera system, while the Find X10 Pro Max steps up to a triple 200MP setup, with OPPO saying it is the first phone to put 200MP sensors on the ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras at once. Most flagships reserve a sensor that large for the main camera alone, so matching it on the zoom and the wide lens is the part worth watching when real samples appear.
Chips, battery and video
The two phones run different silicon. The Find X10 uses MediaTek's Dimensity 9600M, and the Pro Max is among the first phones on the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro. We looked at what that 2nm chip is set to power across OPPO and vivo flagships when MediaTek announced it, and the Find X10 Pro Max is one of the first places Malaysians will actually meet it.
Both models pack an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is large for a phone this size, with OPPO quoting up to two days of typical use and over 80% capacity retained after five years of typical use (OPPO Lab figures). OPPO notes the battery is 7,150mAh in selected markets, so the Malaysian figure is one to confirm at launch. On video, the Pro Max records 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps on all three rear cameras, the Find X10 does the same on its two 200MP cameras, and a new Open Gate Capture mode uses the full sensor area so creators can reframe the same clip for landscape or portrait later.
Design and software
OPPO keeps the Find line's clean look, with a One-Piece Sculpted Glass back that flows into the camera module to soften the bump. The Pro Max comes in Titanium Grey and a Luna White finish with a matte silver camera island and Hasselblad's orange accent ring, while the Find X10 arrives in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral and Mist Grey. Both ship on ColorOS 17, which adds a redesigned interface and an AI Mind Pilot feature with an Agent Mode that can act on your files and photos from a single prompt.
Price, pre-orders and what to wait for
OPPO is holding full specifications, Malaysian pricing and availability for the 22 October launch in Kuala Lumpur, so the number that matters most is not out yet. Pre-orders are already open until 29 October, with OPPO valuing the launch rewards at up to RM4,771, a trade-in rebate of up to RM800, SPayLater instalments, and purchase-with-purchase pricing on its OPPO Care protection plan. Those are pre-order perks, not the phone price.
For context on where this sits, the Find X9 Series started at RM3,699 in Malaysia last time around, and our hands-on with the Find X9 Pro camera is a fair guide to how OPPO's Hasselblad tuning has actually performed. If the camera is your reason to upgrade, the Find X10 Series is worth the two-week wait to see it priced and tested.
