CelcomDigi Protect+ With AppleCare Lands in Malaysia From RM50 a Month

CelcomDigi has started selling Protect+ with AppleCare Services, a single monthly plan that covers an eligible iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods and Beats headphones, with prices starting from RM50 a month. The plan is available now through the CelcomDigi website, its online stores and CelcomDigi outlets nationwide.

One subscription can cover a single Apple device, or bundle up to three more eligible devices on the same plan, so a household running an iPhone, an iPad and an Apple Watch can protect all of them under one bill. The RM50 starting price applies when you buy a selected new iPhone through CelcomDigi's Easy360 device instalment programme.

What the AppleCare cover includes

Because the plan runs on AppleCare Services, repairs go through Apple's own service network. Cover includes accidental damage such as drops and spills, 24/7 priority support from Apple experts, Apple-certified service, and a battery replacement once a device's battery capacity falls below the service threshold.

For the iPhone, Protect+ adds theft and loss protection, with a like-for-like replacement if the phone is no longer in your possession. Subscribers can also swap eligible devices as their needs change.

Why it matters in Malaysia

Apple hardware is among the most expensive a Malaysian buyer will own, and out-of-warranty screen or back-glass repairs routinely run into the hundreds of ringgit, so a fixed monthly fee that folds in accident, theft and loss cover changes the sums for anyone financing a new iPhone. It also keeps buyers inside CelcomDigi's ecosystem, the same push behind its campus plans at four Malaysian universities and its Tech Fair 2026 at 1 Utama.

Prices on Apple devices here already carry a premium: we found that Malaysia's iPhone 18 Pro costs about 12% more than in the US, which is part of why protection plans are landing now. CelcomDigi says it has more than 20.3 million users on its network, giving it the widest single channel to put a plan like this in front of Apple owners.

Full plan details and sign-up are on the CelcomDigi Protect+ page.
