Acer Malaysia has opened its first Predator concept store at Plaza Low Yat, and marked the occasion by putting its new flagship gaming desktop, the Predator Orion 7000, on sale at RM18,999.
The store is pitched as a one-stop destination where gamers can try the latest Predator hardware in person, the kind of local retail footprint we last saw Acer build out around its Predator Helios 18 AI launch.
What the Predator Orion 7000 packs in
At the centre of the launch is the Predator Orion 7000 (PO7-665), which pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics. Acer fits 32GB of DDR5 6000 XMP RGB memory and a 1TB SSD as standard, and the pre-built tower is designed to be opened up later: there are spare DDR5 slots for up to 128GB of RAM, two M.2 slots for up to 6TB of SSD storage, and room for a 4TB 3.5-inch hard drive.
Cooling is handled by Acer's Predator CycloneX 360 system and a CPU liquid cooler. Acer says the fan layout and open-channel design lift cooling efficiency by 15% and drop motherboard temperatures by 9 degrees Celsius, which is the sort of claim that matters on a machine expecting to run an RTX 5080 flat out. An EMI-compliant tempered glass side panel shows off the internals, and the desktop carries a three-year on-site warranty. It is a step up in raw power from the RTX 5090 laptops in Acer's Predator Helios 18 AI line.
Price, availability and the opening promotions
The Predator Orion 7000 is available now at authorised Acer resellers and the Acer eStore at RM18,999. Buy one before 14 October 2026 and Acer throws in a Predator Cestus 335 gaming mouse worth RM299, while stocks last.
To mark the concept store opening, Acer is also running up to RM1,300 off selected devices until 31 October 2026. Highlights include the Acer Nitro 50 desktop at RM3,399, and RM600 off the Predator Helios Neo 16 and Helios Neo 16S gaming laptops. Acer's wider Malaysian range this year has leaned on value plays like its CA1 smart monitors, so the Orion 7000 sits at the opposite, no-compromise end of the lineup.
