Samsung has given its Art Store a first for film. The service has launched its first-ever cinematic collection, a set of 38 stills from acclaimed A24 movies, and it runs on the same Samsung Art TV lines the company already sells in Malaysia. Samsung set out the collection in its global newsroom.
The collection draws from A24, the studio behind Everything Everywhere All at Once, Moonlight, Past Lives and Midsommar, along with I Saw the TV Glow. A24 produces and distributes films, series, documentaries and music, and the 38 stills turn recognisable frames from those titles into gallery art that sits on the screen when the television is not in use.
The point of an Art TV is that it does not look like one when it is off. Samsung designs these sets to work as digital canvases, and The Frame and The Frame Pro, whose first model was named one of TIME's Best Inventions last year, are built to blend into a wall like a framed picture, with a matte finish and swappable bezels. In 2026 Samsung widened the Art Store beyond The Frame to its Micro RGB and Neo QLED sets, and for the first time to select OLED models, including the flagship S95H.
"Our collaboration with A24 expands the horizons of Samsung Art Store by bringing powerful cinematic storytelling to TV screens," said Heeyeong Ahn, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. "We look forward to seeing these iconic film moments inspire audiences around the world and offer a new way to engage with the stories they love."
The cinematic set joins a large library. Samsung describes the Art Store as the largest TV art subscription service in the world, reaching more than 117 countries, with over 5,000 works from more than 800 artists and pieces drawn from partners such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA and the Musee d'Orsay.
For readers in Malaysia, the tie is simple: the collection is available on supported Samsung Art TVs worldwide, and Samsung Malaysia already sells those lines, from The Frame through the Neo QLED range to the S95H OLED. If you own a compatible set, the A24 stills reach it through the Art Store subscription rather than a separate purchase, so it is a software addition to hardware that is already on shelves here.
It is the latest sign of Samsung treating the television as more than a screen for shows. We have seen the same idea in its glasses-free 3D signage and in the way its TVs keep gaining new streaming features, such as HDR10+ ADVANCED on Prime Video. The A24 tie-up points the same set at the living-room wall, and at the people who care about how a film looks even when it is paused.
