SK intellix Malaysia has introduced NAMUHx, which it calls the first mover in wellness robotics, to the Malaysian market, and its headline trick is that it drives itself around a room to find and clear the air where the pollution actually is.

A purifier that moves to the mess
Instead of parking several stationary units around the house, SK intellix says a single NAMUHx can reach up to 2,000 sq ft on its own. The device monitors selected wellness indicators and moves independently around a space, detecting and responding to changing indoor conditions so it can deliver targeted purification in the areas where pollutants show up.
That self-driving design is the part that separates it from an ordinary purifier or even a smart one. It sits closer to the home robots we have started to see arrive locally, like the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai robot vacuum, except here the job is your air rather than your floors.
You can talk to it
NAMUHx is powered by a large language model, the same class of AI behind natural conversation, so users can simply speak to the device and get relevant information on demand. Pair it with the NAMUHx mobile app and you can stay connected to it even when you are away from home. SK intellix has made the A1 fully voice-controlled, which it frames as the more human way to live with the technology.
Two finishes, one Korean idea
The A1 comes in black and white. NAMUHx was originally introduced in Korea, and SK intellix positions it as part of a wider push to combine intelligent technology with human-centric wellness, folding air quality management and wellness information into a single device rather than the separate gadgets most homes rely on today.
"Consumers have traditionally relied on separate devices to manage air quality and wellness information," said SK intellix Malaysia managing director Andy Kim Ja Joong. "NAMUHx brings these experiences together in one device, introducing a new way to experience wellness through robotics. We have also made NAMUHx fully voice-controlled, because we believe technology should feel natural and human-centric, fitting seamlessly into the way people actually live."
