Harvey Norman's HP OmniBook Ultra 14 Deep Espresso Lands in Malaysia, Just 100 Units

Harvey Norman Malaysia has launched the HP OmniBook Ultra 14 Deep Espresso Limited Edition, a globally exclusive colourway of HP's flagship AI laptop that will be sold only through Harvey Norman, with just 100 units available nationwide. The retailer unveiled it in Kuala Lumpur on 17 September 2026 as the centrepiece of a wider OmniBook Ultra 14 limited-edition line-up.

Deep Espresso is a rich, dark finish with a bronze edge and a rose-gold HP logo, and it sits alongside the existing Silk Sand and Eclipse Gray options. HP is pitching it at buyers who treat a laptop as much as a style choice as a tool, which is the whole reason a mainstream flagship is being sold in a numbered run of 100.

The Deep Espresso Edition runs on Intel's Core Ultra 7 356H processor, which HP rates at up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. TOPS is a rough measure of how much AI work the laptop can handle on the device itself, from live captions to image editing, rather than sending it off to the cloud. The machine keeps the ultra-light chassis and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity shared across the range, and it lands in a Malaysian market that has filled up with AI laptops this year, from ASUS's Google AI-tuned models to Acer's latest AI machines.

Buyers who want the most power can step up to the Core Ultra 9 configuration, offered in Silk Sand and Eclipse Gray, which pairs a 14-inch 3K OLED 120Hz touchscreen with 32GB of memory and a 1TB Gen5 SSD. That is the model built for heavier AI workloads, content creation and professional multitasking. Further Core Ultra 7 models round out the range across all three colours.

The launch gifts, and what they are worth

Until 31 October 2026, Harvey Norman is bundling a free gift with each machine, and the value depends on the model. Buy the Core Ultra 9 version (model 14-kd0011TU or 14-kd0012TU) and you receive a Harman Kardon Enchant 900 soundbar worth RM3,499. Buy any Core Ultra 7 model, the Deep Espresso included, and you pick one of three: Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones worth RM1,799, a Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 speaker worth RM1,599, or a Garmin Forerunner smartwatch worth RM1,119. Terms and conditions apply.

Payment can be spread over up to 60 months at 0% interest, and Harvey Norman's usual promises apply: a price-match guarantee, same-day delivery, a 14-day exchange window and click and collect.

Where to see it in Malaysia

The Deep Espresso Limited Edition can be handled in person at 22 Harvey Norman stores nationwide, among them 1 Utama, IOI City Mall, IPC Shopping Centre, Mid Valley Megamall, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Paradigm Mall PJ and Sunway Pyramid in the Klang Valley, Gurney Plaza, Queensbay Mall and Sunway Carnival in Penang, and Paradigm Mall JB and Toppen in Johor, alongside stores in Miri, Bintulu and Kuching.
