Pre-order and in-store dates
There are two waves. The first is next week: Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 open for pre-order on Friday 11 September, and the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max open on Saturday 12 September at 8pm Malaysia time. All of these first-wave products go on sale in stores on Friday 18 September.
The iPhone Duo, the folding iPhone, is a separate, later wave: pre-orders open at 8pm Malaysia time on Friday 16 October, with the phone in stores on Friday 23 October.

What this means for a Malaysian buyer
The headline for anyone upgrading a Pro iPhone is that the price did not move. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at RM5,499 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at RM5,999, which are the exact ringgit prices Apple Malaysia set for the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max a year ago, even though Apple raised the US price of the Pro by USD 100 this year. So there is no year-on-year increase on the Pro line in Malaysia. For the longer view, our record of every iPhone launch price in Malaysia since 2017 puts this year in context, and our breakdown of last year's iPhone 17 Malaysia prices shows where the Pro line has held.
The real jump this year is at the very top. The iPhone Duo, Apple's first folding iPhone, opens at RM9,499 for 256GB and reaches RM15,499 at its top 2TB tier. That is roughly RM4,000 above the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro, and it arrives more than a month after the rest of the lineup. If a folding iPhone is on your list, the date to hold is Friday 16 October, not next week.
On the wearables, the Apple Watch Series 12 at RM1,799 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 at RM3,699 both land in the first wave on 18 September, as do the AirPods 5 at RM599 and RM699. Apple's software updates that carry the new health features, iOS 27 and watchOS 27, are set for Monday 14 September, a few days before the hardware reaches stores, though Apple notes some features may not be available in all regions or languages.

We will update this article if Apple Malaysia adjusts any price or posts a storage tier we have not listed, and we will link each of our full launch reports as they are finalised.
Shooting on your iPhone?
Every iPhone Pro since the iPhone 15 Pro shoots Apple Log, and the difference between footage that looks like a phone and footage that looks like cinema is not the phone, it is the workflow: exposing LOG on purpose, grading it, getting clean audio. That is exactly what our Pocket Cinematic course teaches, on the phone already in your pocket, the workflow we use on our own videos. The course page lists the founder price at RM349 with a free Hollyland Lark A1 mic while the founder boxes last.
