If you are paying for Disney+, Prime Video, WeTV and Viu as separate subscriptions, Astro is offering a cheaper way to bundle them, starting at RM15 a month, and it is adding a new Korean channel for K-drama fans.

New streaming bundles, from RM15 a month
From 23 June, Astro is selling streaming bundles that fold popular apps into a single subscription. The Disney+ and Prime Video Bundle is RM25 a month, while a Prime Video Bundle on its own is RM15 a month. Both come with Astro's Blockbuster Pack, a set of four Movies and Entertainment channels. Separately, the WeTV and Viu Duo is RM15 a month and runs from today until 4 September 2026, giving access to Chinese dramas, Korean series, Malay dramas, variety shows and exclusive titles across both platforms.

A new Korean channel arrives 1 July
Astro is also launching Astro Daebak on channel 393, a Korean entertainment channel powered by tvN, on 1 July. It is available to all Astro customers and joins a Korean lineup that already includes tvN (395), tvN Movies (416), KBS World (392) and K-Plus (396). Astro says the channel strengthens that lineup following the global closure of ONE HD.
Subscription fatigue is the real target
Malaysian households now juggle several streaming apps, and the monthly total adds up quickly. By packaging Disney+, Prime Video, WeTV and Viu between RM15 and RM25 and billing them through Astro, the company is going after that fatigue: one bill, fewer logins, and a lower headline price than paying for each app on its own. The WeTV and Viu deal carries an end date of 4 September, so treat that one as a promotional window rather than a permanent rate.
What to check before you sign up
The bundles include Astro's Blockbuster Pack, so they are an Astro product rather than a standalone app subscription. Before adding one, it is worth listing what you already pay for each month, since the savings only land if the bundle costs less than the apps you would otherwise keep separately.
For households already deep in Disney, Prime Video and Korean content, the maths is simple. If an Astro bundle comes in under your current stack of apps, it is worth a look, especially while the WeTV and Viu price holds until September.
