If your laptop bag has ever rejected a mouse for being too lumpy, Logitech thinks it has the answer. The company has announced the Mobi Fold, its first foldable mouse, and Logitech Malaysia has confirmed the launch for the local market.

How the Mobi Fold works
The idea is simple: the Mobi Fold is a full-size-feeling wireless mouse that folds flat into a pocket-size slab when you are done. Folding it also acts as the power switch. Unfold to switch on, fold to switch off, with no buttons to hunt for.
Despite the folding party trick, the spec sheet reads like a serious productivity mouse. There is a 4K DPI sensor for fast, precise tracking, and Adaptive Touch Scrolling that handles both line-by-line accuracy and quick flicks through long documents. Buttons and the touch panel can be customised through the Logi Options+ app.
Built for the backpack life
Logitech says the Mobi Fold is drop-tested and dust-resistant, with a hinge rated to last 15 years of folding and unfolding. It connects over Bluetooth and can pair with up to three devices, switching between them across major operating systems, which suits anyone hopping between a work laptop, a personal machine and a tablet.
Battery life is the other headline. A full charge runs up to one month, and when you forget to top up, one minute on the charger buys you 22 hours of use. That is short enough to happen while you make coffee before a meeting.
Price and availability in Malaysia
Logitech has launched the Mobi Fold internationally at US$79.99, in Graphite, Lilac and Off White. The Malaysian press release does not state local pricing or an on-sale date yet, although the Mobi Fold product page is already live on the official Logitech Malaysia site. Why it matters
Portable mice usually ask you to compromise: smaller bodies, cramped grips, or flat designs that sacrifice comfort. A folding design that powers itself on and off, paired with a month of battery, is a genuinely practical take on the travel mouse rather than a novelty. For Malaysian hybrid workers, students and creators moving between home, office and cafe, this is one of the more interesting accessories Logitech has shipped in a while.
