Samsung S95H OLED TV Earns Pantone ArtfulColor Mark

The flagship OLED gains an independent colour-accuracy certification, with Glare Free viewing for brighter rooms.

For Malaysian living rooms where the television doubles as a centrepiece, how faithfully a screen shows colour is becoming as important as how bright or how big it is. Samsung's flagship OLED TV, the S95H, has just picked up independent backing on exactly that point.

The S95H earns a colour-accuracy stamp

The S95H has achieved Pantone Validated ArtfulColor certification, which recognises the set's ability to reproduce colour with a high degree of fidelity under controlled viewing conditions. In plain terms, it is an outside reference point for something buyers usually cannot judge from a quick showroom demo: whether the colours on screen match what the content's creators intended.

Samsung links the certification to more accurate tones, improved contrast and better preservation of detail, which it says adds up to a more gallery-like experience, particularly when viewing art. The panel is paired with Glare Free technology that cuts reflections for a clearer picture in brighter rooms.

Why a colour certification matters

Colour accuracy is one of the hardest things to assess when shopping for a television. Showroom floors are bright, demo reels are tuned to dazzle, and two sets sitting side by side can look very different from how they will behave at home. A validation from Pantone, the company behind the colour-matching standards used across design and print, gives shoppers a consistent benchmark rather than marketing language.

It also fits a wider trend of premium TVs being sold as design objects. Samsung and its rivals have leaned into art and ambient modes that turn an idle screen into wall decor, and a set that can render artwork close to its original palette is a stronger fit for that pitch. The Glare Free layer is the practical companion to that idea, since reflections are the quickest way to break the illusion in a sunlit Malaysian home.

Availability in Malaysia

Samsung has not detailed local pricing or on-sale dates for the S95H in this announcement. Malaysian buyers should check Samsung's official channels and authorised retailers for confirmed availability and recommended pricing before deciding.

For anyone who cares less about spec-sheet numbers and more about whether a television shows colour the way it was meant to look, the S95H now has an independent certificate to point to.
