HONOR will be launching its highly anticipated HONOR 400 Series in Malaysia on May 22, 2025, and we can all expect some serious AI firepower to the camera game. The standout feature? A brand-new AI Image to Video function, built with Google Cloud AI, that can turn your still photos into engaging videos. 

Instead of going online to transform still visuals into moving images, you'll be able to use HONOR's native camera editing app right away.

AI Image to Video - The Game Changer

The claim here is that the HONOR 400 Series can turn AI Image to Video in 5 seconds. Imagine taking any photo – old family pictures, artwork, even comic strips – and turning them into short, moving videos quickly. That's precisely what this technology does.

It opens up a world of creative possibilities and lets you relive moments in a whole new way. For Malaysians who love sharing their lives on social media, this feature offers a unique way to make content stand out.

HONOR explains that this feature works with several image types, whether it's a real-life photo, AI-generated art or old pictures. 

Flagship Camera Specs

Beyond the AI wizardry, HONOR 400 Series also boasts flagship-level camera specs.

In the series the devices will come beefed up with a 200MP Main Camera supported by a large 1/1.4-inch super sensor, surpassing the previous generation, and are also equipped with both Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). This means super-sharp, clear images, even in low light.

It's teased that the series will also equip a 12MP Macro and Wide camera.

It doesn't stop there. HONOR 400 Pro will have a 50MP AI Telephoto Camera, offering up to 50x digital zoom (compared to the HONOR 400's 30x zoom). Selfies are also getting an upgrade with a 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera.

AI Editing Tools - Unleash Your Creativity

HONOR 400 series will also come with powerful AI editing tools.

On the phones you'll be able to enjoy AI Eraser 2.0, which removes unwanted objects and reflections from your photos. Use AI Cutout so you can precisely extract people or objects and change the background. Is your image looking incomplete? AI Outpainting will extend image boundaries through AI generation. 

If you happen to snap photos on camera with outdated or sluggish specifications, there's AI Upscale sharpens old or low-resolution photos. And if you like album-style image curation, the Moving Photo Collage lets you create dynamic collages from Live Photos. Finally, there's Harcourt Studio 2.0 that delivers artistic portraits with film simulation filters.
